On Sunday 22nd February 2015 one of the UK’s favourite bridal designers internationally renowned for her stunning work Caroline Castigliano held an exclusive event at one of the world’s most iconic hotels, The Dorchester hotel in London’s Mayfair. A selection of brides not only had the chance to view Carolines stunning new Opera collection for themselves but also to meet the lady herself and talk to her about her gowns and creations.
The Smarter Bride were lucky enough to attend this stylish and lavish event that consisted of opulent surroundings, a delicious afternoon tea with sparkling champagne, a selection of finger sandwiches, cakes and warm scones topped with homemade jam and clotted cream. However it was Caroline Castigliano’s stunning collection that really stole the show. With up to the minute fashion and designs.
The event held by Caroline Castigliano and Brides Magazine also gave these lucky brides to be the opportunity to talk one to one with some of the industrys most talented and inspirational wedding suppliers including, Nikki Tibble, Freya Rose, Bruce Russell, Michael Van Clarke, Andrew Prince and Bobbi Brown to name but a few. Firecracker Films were also there to film for a new wedding documentary due to be aired later this year.
Fan’s of the designer will be delighted to know that the Opera collection stays with the brand style of relaxed glamor. Caroline has continued with the lace trend on into 2015 with a mixture of the finest and most fabulous fabrics including exquisite detailed lace, the lightest organza and tulle. Smooth and tailored silk zimberline and not to forget the most glamorous and luxurious of fabrics silk georgette, with its desired shimmer and light springy feel.
You can clearly see that Caroline has thought about the importance of having a light yet stylish dress for your big day. Caroline philosophy is

Carolines unique designs included the relaxed little pockets, buttoned detailing, low open back with pretty lace shrugs, 1950’s inspired high necklines and also the comeback of the scoop neck bodice with high sides.
